American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations (AAPPO)

Offers an annual market & industry trend report, plus online access to PPO market and trend reports and state legislative and compliance portals.

American Medical Directors Association (AMDA)

Provides education, advocacy, information, and other resources for medical directors and physicians practicing in the long-term care continuum.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

Agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which administers the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Offers online guide to current drug plan options; Part D enrollment data; health plan reports, files, and data; state Medicaid coding, enrollment, and coverage information; reimbursement billing codes; access to formularies, and more.

National Association of Managed Care Physicians (NAMCP)

Provides information on accredited continuing medical education programs and research for practicing physicians to help them succeed in managed care environments.

Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA)

Represents leading U.S. pharmaceutical research and biotechnology companies. Maintains databases of recently approved medicines and those in clinical trials or at the FDA for review. Also surveys companies on drugs in the pipeline for specific diseases and special populations.

United States Pharmacopeia (USP)

The official public standards-setting authority for all U.S.-made prescription and over-the-counter medicines. USP standards are recognized and used in more than 130 countries. Works with healthcare providers to help them reach USP standards.
